It depends on the designer, but here at Artemis we add value. Whether that be by way of helping you sell your home as quickly as possible for the highest price or making your home fit for purpose and saving you a move. We want you to love your home.

Practically speaking, our services include:

  • Staging for Sale;
  • Online Design Consultations;
  • Paint & Colour Consultations;
  • Decluttering & Organisation;
  • Full Design & Project Management.

You can find out more about each of these on my services page!

What we don’t do is push you into a design you don’t love, won’t be workable for you or be outside of your budget. And that’s a promise.

Hmm, this is a tough one. We all have to start somewhere and I’m sure he is talented with a keen eye for colour but it takes more than just being good with colour to be a good Interior Designer.

You need to be good at reading people, understanding and translating exactly what they are looking for, even if they don’t quite know themselves. You need to be a good listener, being empathetic to your clients needs. You need to have fantastic people and project management skills and be excellent at problem solving. You need to be a diplomat and peacekeeper when your painter and electrician have had a disagreement and get everything back on course on time and on budget.

And then yes of course you need to be able to understand colour and know the rules of design. It’s also useful if they are able to draw up a floor plan, electrical plans, 3D drawings rendered in photorealistic rendering and run a building site efficiently and effectively. At Artemis we have 20 years of experience designing and refurbishing property personally, this alongside an Interior Design Diploma makes sure we’ve covered all the bases.

Absolutely not. We have a variety of different service packages which cover all types of client, from those on a shoestring to those with money to spare.

Equally we can work with people who want to be hands on or hand the reins over. Many clients use Interior Designers because they haven’t got the time or would like to be a bit braver/bolder with their design choices.

Using an Interior Designer takes away the hard work and leaves you with a fantastic result without the expensive mistakes. Who wouldn’t want that?
